Dear friends, neighbors and community partners:

We are the Combined Veterans of Berwyn, and it is our sworn mission to preserve the legacy of our veterans, and to serve and support those living in the community. It is once again time that we remind all Veterans that their sacrifice for this country has not been forgotten.

In 2018 we took it upon ourselves to organize an event to renew our commitment to our veterans and our community. It was called the Combined Veterans Welcome Home Barbeque. It was held in Proksa Park (29th Place & Wisconsin Ave) in Berwyn, on September 22nd, 2018.

ALL veterans received a free lunch. In addition to being a luncheon, the event featured over 20 different exhibitors, who offered a service that catered specifically to veterans. The second year featured 46 exhibitors. In 2020, due to the pandemic, we did it virtually with 40 exhibitors in a Zoom meeting! Last year was the largest ever, and included a job fair featuring Amazon.

This year, the same event, now called the Combined Veterans Luncheon & Expo, will be in its 6th year with a capacity of over 200 exhibitors and a job fair expansion. To receive a FREE meal, veterans must present proof of Service such as a VA ID card, current VSO Membership card, a DD 214 with appropriate State ID, or any identification that proves he or she is a veteran.

If you can assist us with a financial donation we can feed more veterans. Every donation of $100.00 will help feed 16-20 veterans.

As a way to thank our sponsors, a large sponsor banner will be displayed at the event. You can display your or your company’s information for all the attendees to see those who helped make the event successful. Please see the optional attached sponsorship form for details.
